An educator, a role model, a community activist and mentor, Cheryll A. Mills is more than just the Pastor’s wife. With more than thirty years of experience in education ranging from pre-school to college, she has the heart of a true servant of God.

​Lady Mills, as she is affectionately known in ministry, has long served to assist students in reaching their maximum potential in order to fulfill their dreams and aspirations. She has used her background, experience and education to spearhead a number of events and activities designed to positively impact the lives of students and their families.
Educated in the public schools of Somerset County, Maryland, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland and her M.Ed. in Public School Administration from then Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Maryland. Cheryll also completed doctoral studies at the former Wilmington College in Georgetown, Delware, but did not pursue the defense of her dissertation because of the Lord moving her life in a completely different direction. From being a single, teenage mother to beating the odds of not only marrying the father of their three daughters, but to sustaining that relationship since 1975 and the marriage since 1988, she truly does not look like what she's been through. Lady Mills lives her life believing and trusting that "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)
